This is a photo which I have spent time on - which I have not done for a while. Not much that could really go wrong though, it is a great place. I have not really posted any of my photos from my Germany trip - but this one has broken through and just stood out when I saw it in my collection. Personally, I feel the use of Color Balance has improved the photo, I went for a blue hue with the rocks being darker. Find the larger version here
Yo, a photo from Portugal - I used clone stamp to remove some of the objects and then played around with the curves and color balance as I usually do. I managed to get a nice yellowy hue out of the photo which was what I wanted. So voila, another "Piece from Portugal". Check out the larger version here
I was looking at some photography the other day, and a lot of them enhanced the blue and purple, which gave the images a strange but wonderful. In my bid to pounce on this new idea, I rushed a lot of the other things like clone stamping in order to remove the people. I am yet to produce a guide on Clone Stamping, so for those who wish to learn, I will try to put up a tutorial during the weekend, but for now I will just release another photo. Just a simple scene, but I just played around with the Curves (Image > Adjustments > Curves) and the Color Balance (Image > Adjustments > Color Balance). This was a pic from my trip to Portugal a few years back, it originally had a few items like people in the foreground, which I didn't want, so I used clone stamping - my first time - and it did a great job. From their I played around with the colours by going to Images > Adjustments > Curves. I also tampered with the Color Balance. I removed the original blank sky and added one I found and voila, my finished photo, I've clipped it to a banner form but you can grab the wallpaper version here. Or wait for The Goods #0002.
