Stagnant as the site may seem, I have been trying an array of ideas which I could post. Yet this week, every day, I feel that writing a short story or poem would be the perfect start to the creativity growing from the approaching summer. Today there is a poem.
Music
Soothingly a note from parted lips sounds
Accompanied by gloriously brash brass wolves.
Sirens, alarms, wails yet a light blue sound erupted
From the cascades.
Silence emerged the victor, with no worth rivals
But beneath its powerful perch, a thump
Followed by another and more and then
A repeated series developed in the cold silence.
Tingles of metal from every wall eased my ears
A soft yellow glow began to take grasp of the abode -
Growing, multiplying, emerging yet a light blue sound erupted
To silence all from the beautiful cascades.
