Surrounded in the blissfully new experience of Montreal, I explored. By the last night of my trip I had visited St. Joseph's church, been through the art museum and space centre and ferried through the thousand islands. Eating against the backdrop of old Montreal, listening to music punctuated by the claps of thunder, whilst simultaneously being buffeted by a strong wind was the most interesting and "different" experience. of them all.

By far the most beautiful memories were encased in these mystifying surroundings.

Immediately spotting the photo opportunity across the area, I was quick to unholster my DSLR and shoot like crazy. For a change the shot above is actually of my brother (right) and myself.

Walking over a small bridge, I caught a glimpse of these guys surfing on the water. The thoughts were lingering in my head afterwards and on the way back I managed to take a justifiable shot.

I've been experimenting around a lot with Photoshop recently; post-processing photos and attempting to colour in some line art. I discovered some photography on flickr which had light leaks which, added to the right photo, makes it a masterpiece. So I played around more and reached this result.

During my stay in Montreal, I visited St. Joseph's Cathedral. Architecturally it was great, compounded with the natural beauty and (well kept) garden it became a stunning sight.
